東京であくせく働いているこの瞬間にも、アラスカではザトウクジラが空中を跳んでいるかもしれない。色々なものに同じ時間が流れているのだと感じること。それ自体が豊かなことではないか、と星野道夫は言う。
この感覚はよくわかる。自由になれる感じがする。ゆっくり読みたい一冊。
Michio Hoshino “Magic Words”
Even at this moment when I am toiling in Tokyo, a humpback whale might be breaching in the air in Alaska. Feeling that many things in different places are happing at the same time itself can be fulfilling. I agree. I feel liberated by doing so. This book deserves slow reading.
